Key Dates

  • 20/Apr/09 - Settlement date (also Theresa's birthday!)
  • 24/Apr/09 - First day on property as "Owners".   Commercial herd starts with 22 cows and 23 calves, and expands with 2 calves in May & June
  • 12/Jun/09 - Water system operational - 4 purebred Charolais arrive
  • 18/Jul/09 - Louie 1st born (Aserlay Louie 1)
  • 14/Aug/09 - Aserlay Aragon 1 born
  • 14/Oct/09 - Steel Cattle Yards Completed
  • 18/Dec/09 - First Commercial Cattle Sales (rid of crazies)
  • 24/Dec/09 - Shed Completed
  • 21/05/10 - Second group of Purebred Charolais arrive  [Palgrove Aletta 19 and daughter, Palgrove Maxine 116 (P) ET and Palgrove Panache 203 (P) ET]
  • 06/07/10 - Maxella is born.  First of her genetic line in Australia
  • 29/08/10 - Old yards finally dismantled
  • 08/11/10 - First F1 Brahman born (Arial)
